For The Love of Paper
Caline Welles of "For The Love of Paper" makes unique, one of a kind books for every occasion. Commissions have included everything from illustration, blank artist's books and wedding albums to invitations and valentines. She is a collector of interesting things and frequently use bits and pieces of her various collections as well as collage to embellish the covers and pages of my books. Caline views books as being vessels; some of her designs are simple and straightforward and others are sculptural, with many secret and surprising folds. Phil Rossi scares us!

www.crescentstation.net We all agree that "Crescent" is so gripping, you'll realize you haven't blinked in hours as you find yourself drawn into Rossi's intricate world. It's the first truly scary book we've read in years. And more than that- it's not just an in your face terror fest (don't get me wrong, it's totally that too), but a really phenomenal story, filled with lush details and characters you feel connected to. We just can't say enough good things about it! It's one of our frequent topics of conversation here at the Maple Row workshop! Check it out at www.Amazon.com, or directly at www.crescentstation.net. You won't regret it!
